Published by Young Investors Network · 2025
Young Investors Network, in collaboration with the African Entrepreneurship School – Adesua Growth Incubation Hub, launched the Case Manager Challenge as part of the Industrial Consulting Project. The initiative enabled Accounting and Finance students from Accra Technical University to act as junior consultants, working directly with entrepreneurs to identify challenges, conduct research, and propose practical solutions.
About the Challenge
The Case Manager Challenge is a hands-on program designed to bridge academic learning with practical business problem-solving. Students engaged with real enterprises, applying their classroom knowledge to deliver research-driven and actionable recommendations for growth.
Impact
- Students: Gained practical consulting experience, teamwork, and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurs: Received innovative, affordable, and tailored solutions to strengthen and expand their businesses.
- Industry Experts: Observed first-hand the creativity and potential of the next generation of finance and business leaders.
Why It Matters
This initiative demonstrates the value of practical learning in higher education. It prepares students to be effective problem-solvers and provides entrepreneurs with solutions that can be implemented to achieve growth. The Case Manager Challenge represents a step forward in building a new generation of business leaders in Ghana.
