Young Investors Network Honored with 2025 America Saves Week Savings Champion Award.

We’re thrilled to announce that the Young Investors Network (YIN) has been recognized with the prestigious 2025 America Saves Week Savings Champion Award! This incredible honor is given to organizations that make the biggest impact during the annual America Saves Week celebration.

America Saves Week 2025, which ran from April 7-11, was a huge success, inspiring millions of Americans to take charge of their financial well-being and make real progress toward their savings goals. With the theme “Saving for Your Past, Present & Future,” the initiative saw an amazing collaboration of 5,046 organizations nationwide. Together, these efforts reached over 28.5 million people and encouraged more than $155 million in deposits into savings accounts during the week!

“We are incredibly honored to receive the Savings Champion Award,” said Mr. Joshua Mensah, Executive Director of Young Investors Network. “This recognition truly reflects our commitment to empowering individuals, especially young people, with the knowledge and tools they need to build strong financial foundations. We believe that by fostering good saving habits early, we can contribute to a more financially secure future for our communities.”

America Saves Week encouraged everyone to think about their unique savings goals and take simple, impactful steps toward a more secure financial future. This included opening new savings accounts, boosting emergency funds, and setting up or increasing automatic deposits. The top savings goals identified during America Saves Week 2025 were Emergency Fund (27.3%), General Savings (22.5%), and Vacation or Special Event.
