ACCRA — The 2026 edition of the National Investment Quiz (NIQ) officially commenced on Friday following a symbolic “Ring the Bell” ceremony held at the trading floor of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE).
Organized by the Young Investors Network (YIN) in collaboration with key financial market partners including the Ghana Stock Exchange and the Central Securities Depository (CSD), the event marks the official launch of this year’s high-school financial literacy championship.
Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Adu Anane Antwi, Board Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), highlighted the critical role that early capital market education plays in securing Ghana’s economic future. He emphasized that fostering sound financial principles, investor protection awareness, and disciplined saving habits among students builds a resilient investing public and safeguards the long-term integrity of the capital market.
Dr. Antwi commended the Young Investors Network and collaborating partners for sustaining a platform that bridges the gap between academic theory and practical capital market dynamics.
